Our Clients

Whilst many of our clients are global investment banks, others are niche banks and boutique firms with a specific geographical and/or product focus. We also undertake work on behalf of global accountancy firms with corporate finance practices and are increasingly diversifying our client base to incorporate global MNCs with financial services specialist requirements.

Type of work undertaken

The majority of work undertaken by our firm is pro-active search work, thereby targeting potential candidates on your behalf with a specifically defined skill set.

Recruitment Methods used

As far as the recruitment services which we are able to offer are concerned, there are three main forms of retained recruitment:

  1. Search:

    In this recruitment process we proactively approach, screen, and interview suitably qualified candidates on your behalf.

  2. Search and Selection:

    In this recruitment process we combine proactive approaching of candidates (search) with the running of an advertisement in a paper/magazine of your choice and interview selected respondents (selection).

  3. Selection:

    This is the least pro-active of the above mentioned methods, on the basis that in this recruitment process we run an advertisement in a paper/magazine of your choice and interview selected respondents.

In all three of the above mentioned recruitment processes, our fees are highly incentivised with the total fee being divided into three instalments: the first third payable as a retainer, the second third payable upon you receiving a shortlist (of, on average, between four and six people) acceptable to your requirements, and the final third payable upon appointment of the chosen candidate. We would normally aim to provide you with a shortlist of candidates under any one of the above mentioned three recruitment methods within a period of six to eight weeks of commencing the assignment.

There are, in addition, two further recruitment services which we also provide on a regular basis to clients on a non-retained basis:

  1. File Search/Database Search:

    In this recruitment process we pass details by you on a highly selected basis once again, although on this occasion focused exclusively on candidates on file whom we know to have a specific interest in making a move for the sort of position you have available.

  2. Contingency Search:

    In this recruitment process we pass details by you of candidates whom we have approached specifically with regard to a position with yourselves and whose details are not currently held on file by Salt Chapman Associates.

Database

Over the course of the past twelve years, Salt Chapman Associates has built up an extensive database containing the career backgrounds of over 15,000 executives in the Financial Services field from which we are able to pre-select and approach candidates on your behalf. This is updated on a regular basis.
